Baywatch
comes to Cocoa Beach! Over 300 super fit lifeguards
are expected to participate in the United States
Lifesaving Association Southeast Regional Lifeguard
Championships that is to be held at the Cocoa Beach
Pier July 21-22nd 2005. This event showcases the
athletic ability of the competitors as well as the
courage and determination that these lifesavers
possess.
Giles Malone,

event, “We have been trying to secure this event for the Space Coast
for many years. Finally, thanks to the efforts of Brevard County’s
tremendous life guarding reputation and the enthusiasm of Chief
Lifeguard, Wyatt Werneth, the Pier will be hosting this prestigious
event.” The two days of competition will feature thirteen individual
